Phone recovery

Recover phone files on your Mac, Windows PC, or laptop.

RecoverIQ runs on the computer. The phone is a source: USB folder, SD card, or an iPhone backup already on the machine. It does not unlock the phone or read sealed internal storage.

Mac

From a Mac

Android: Connect USB, choose File Transfer, then in RecoverIQ open Phone → Open Android folder (DCIM). If macOS does not mount the phone, copy DCIM to the Mac first.

iPhone: Finder cannot expose the phone as a disk. Back up in Finder, then Phone → Open iPhone backup (MobileSync/Backup).

SD card: Card reader → Recover Data.

Windows / laptop

From Windows or a laptop

Android: File Transfer mode, then open the phone drive’s DCIM folder in RecoverIQ Phone.

iPhone: Back up with Apple Devices or iTunes, then open the MobileSync\Backup folder.

SD card: Same as Mac — Recover Data on the card volume.

Limits

What this path cannot do

No passcode or screen-lock bypass.

No direct iPhone NAND scan.

Encrypted iPhone backups stay locked until Finder/iTunes has the backup password.

Photos that never reached a backup, USB copy, or SD card cannot be invented.
