RecoverIQ

Module B — Archive Repair

Repair damaged ZIP archives — locally.

Analyze archive health, salvage recoverable files from truncated or incomplete downloads, and rebuild a new ZIP from successfully recovered entries. RecoverIQ never uploads your archive contents and never recreates missing download bytes.

What it does

Salvage what is physically present.

When a ZIP download stops at 600 MB of an expected 1 GB file, RecoverIQ scans the available bytes, identifies recoverable entries, and extracts only data that is actually on disk. Missing bytes are reported honestly — they are not invented.

Archive health analysis (Healthy, Truncated, Partial Download, …)
Central directory recovery via local header scan
Incomplete download detection (.crdownload, .part, content-based)
Rebuild archive without overwriting the source
